CATCH THE READING BUG! The 2008 Summer Reading Program for the Shoshone Public Library kicks off with sign up on June 5th at the Library.
HOW TO SIGN UP
One: Come to the Library and sign up by class to read all Summer, {Your class may win a prize }. Pick up your Reading Log and get stared.
Two: Mark off a picture and write the date on your Reading Log for each day that you've read or been read to for 20 minutes or more.
Three: Come get your prizes after 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 days or more! The more you read the longer we will keep the program going.
FAQ: 1. Do I have to come to all the programs at the library to win a prize?
NO, you can now participate with only one trip to our library, to signup. Of course would love for you to visit and take home lots of our really great books,
but you can even report your reading log days over the internet; just use the
contact button at the top of this page.
The last day to turn in reading logs? We are looking at September 1,2008. Remember, you can continue to READ and get class points even after the weekly inlibrary programs are over. Class prize will be announced at Back to School Night.
So get registered and get reading for you and for your school! Remember all programs are FREE!
Programs will begin on Thursday June 12th with a Bug Safari. Be at the library by 1:00 P.M. to catch this program of fun and stories. Also watch for our Readers at the Park on Wednesdays with the Summer Nutrition Ladies. First "Pick a Free Book" day will be June 18th (unless we have rain).
